Our rating

The process of rating a company operating in a construction sector of Russia is a procedure of assigning to it an individual estimation of its level of competitiveness, reliability and information openness. In accordance with worldwide commonly accepted approaches, the Agency R.A.B.C. has determined its own standard grades and adopted their number. As a basis for rating an economic entity its comprehensive study with taking into account all peculiarities of the industry is employed.

R.A.B.C. has established two steps of rating procedure:

  • Distant;
  • Contact.

Distant evaluation is based on collecting actual and historical public records. Assigned independently and objectively, rating stands as a mechanism of forming company’s image and a tool of its external control. A company can always influence its evaluation by providing the Agency with additional information and thus eliminating a gap in available positive information required for assignment of higher grade.

Results of distant rating presented on R.A.B.C. website are always accessible for all participants of the construction market such as banks or other commercial services and are made to help them in estimation level of risks.

Get familiar with results of distant rating in section “Check your company”.

Unlike distant evaluation, a contact one allows processing much larger array of information. This kind of procedure involves systematization of internal (documentation provided by a company under evaluation including confidential data) and external (public records) sources of information and implies exit meetings with representatives of a subject of rating process. Such type of evaluation is in fact an independent audit of a company which reveals problem points in its functioning (risk factors) and allows estimating and correcting its competitive position in relation to other participants of the market.

Aside from advantages brought by a comprehensive audit, an independent opinion concerning the level of reliability, competitiveness and information openness of a firm made by an expert in a form of analytical report can often be an advantage in searching for agreements with banks, investment or leasing companies, realtor agencies etc.
